Ride was good
Thanks to our neighbors, sponsors and riders for their support of the 23rd annual Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad Benefit Hunter Pace on Sunday, Oct. 14. Between our sponsors and riders we had total contributions of $3,795. In the 23 years we have been doing this benefit, we have raised a total of $78,662.
A special thank you to our neighbors who let us ride across their property. As always we could not have such a nice course without their help.
A special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Junek and Karenan Smart who helped in preparing, decorating and cleaning up the course. Thanks also to Bailey’s Catering for providing a delicious meal afterward, to A Moment in Time Farm and the Leonardtown Rescue Squad Auxiliary for the drinks, snacks and desserts they supplied.
As always we want to acknowledge our jump sponsors including Anonymous; Old Breton Inn/Bailey’s Catering Inc.; Bailey’s Party Rentals; Blair’s Jewelry and Gifts Inc.; Campani’s Horseshoeing Service; David’s Flowers LLC;
