Jodie Ann Ball, 62, formerly of St. Marys, died at 6:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born May 31, 1959 in St. Marys, to Edgar and Rosemary (Pudge) Holsinger.

On Sept. 17, 1977 in St. Marys, she married John Henry Ball, who survives in Oakwood, Ohio.

Also survived by: daughters Jessica Wilkins of Wapakoneta, Jenny (Ryan) Logan of Spencervil­le, Judy Ball of Van Wert, Jeannie (Nicholas) Westgerdes of Celina; sons: John (Stacie) Ball of St. Marys, Jacob (Emily) Ball of Cridersvil­le and David Ball of Oakwood; 10 grandchild­ren: Brieanna Shindler, Austin Trowbridge, Hannah Trowbridge, Mylie Logan, John Ball, Jr., Tyler Westgerdes, Memphis Sturwold, Aaron Ball, Peyton Westgerdes, Harmony Westgerdes; sisters Roxy Wagner of Ocala, Florida, Ginger (Jackie) Figel of Hillsboro, Oregon, Brenda (Andy) Fishbach of Sidney and Sarah (Doug) Eckstein of Dayton; brothers John (Theresa) Holsinger of St. Marys and Rick (Christine Clark) Holsinger of Celina and mother-in-law Grace Ball of St. Marys.

Preceded in death by: parents Edgar and Rosemary Holsinger; brother Edgar Holsinger; sister Janice Blackledge; sister Candice Grilliot; sister Marsha Taylor and sister Shelly Slone.

Jodie retired from the Heritage Manor Nursing Center in Minster, where she worked as a Developmen­tal Services Alternativ­e caregiver. She was also previously employed at Wapak Products in Botkins.

Her favorite pastimes included photograph­y and flower gardening. She felt truly blessed to be able to work with the residents of Heritage Manor. More than anything else, she will be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmothe­r.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.

Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral Home.
