St. Marys Police Department

The St. Marys Police Department issued 17 citations and responded to the following incidents from Oct. 1 to Oct. 5.

Oct. 1

• At 4:06 p.m., a vehicle accident occurred on West High Street after a one car attempted to back out onto the street, getting hit from behind by another vehicle.

• At 4:13 p.m., the police received a report involving a breaking and entering that occurred at the 100 block of South Park Drive.

• At 5:21 p.m., the St. Marys Police Department received Henry Wolaver II after he was arrested by the Ft. Loramie Police Department on an active warrant for failure to appear.

Oct. 2

• At 11:00 a.m., the SMPD helped the Ohio State Patrol on a vehicular pursuit between WB 33 and 33 A.

• At 6:38 p.m., the SMPD assisted the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office on OH 197.

• At 8:18 p.m., the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office called the St. Marys Police Department to assist with an incident at the 100 block of East Bank Road.

• At 8:51 p.m., the police were called to the 100 block of South Pear Street in order to deal with a probation violation.

Oct. 4

• At 10:01 a.m., officers investigat­ed a private property traffic accident after receiving a report from the 1700 block of Celina Road.

• At 11:09 a.m., an accident occurred on State Route 66 after a vehicle sideswiped a parked car, resulting in some damage on both vehicles.

• At 9:33 p.m., the police were called to the 800 block of Hendricks Avenue to deal with a suicidal male on the property.

Oct. 5

• At 2:05 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a citation near the intersecti­on of North Wayne Street and West Spring Street.

• At 3:07 p.m., an accident was reported on Indiana Avenue after a vehicle failed to stop at a red light, resulting in it getting it in the side by another vehicle.

• At 5:50 p.m., reports of a dog bite were sent to a police after an incident at the 400 block of McLain Street.
