Geraldine Rupert-Minnich, 73

Geraldine “Gerri” Rupert-Minnich, 73, of Celina, died at 4:20 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2022 at her residence.

She was born Oct. 14, 1948 in Landeck, Ohio to Vernon and Angela (Vogt) Bonifas.

Survivors include: daughter Charlene Roby of Celina; son Leroy Rupert of Ft. Mohave, Arizona; son Roger (April) Rupert of Mendon; daughter Angela (Bobby) Ream of St. Marys; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and brothers Roger Bonifas of St. Marys and Donald Bonifas of Celina.

Preceded in death by: father Vernon Bonifas; mother Angela Bonifas-Boberg; twin brother Gerald Bonifas; sister Marietta Bonifas and brother Paul Bonifas.

She retired from the Celina Manor, where she worked as a nursing assistant. She had previously operated the Sportsman’s Bar & Grill in St. Marys and the Brunswick Bar & Grill in Wapakoneta, OH.

Her favorite pastimes included Bingo, NASCAR, going to Eldora Speedway, bar bowling and having cookouts with her family.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High St. in St. Marys. Pastor Robert Warren will officiate the services.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
