Supporting Summer Kids Bag program
St. Marys Memorial High School Interact Club and members of the St. Marys Rotary Club met at Agape Ministries in order to support the Summer Kids Bag program. Between the two clubs, they’ve donated over 60 cases, with the Interact Club donating around $2,000 worth of supplies themselves. All of the food will go into providing food for kids that have little access to it over the summer from May 24 to Aug. 19.
Assistant Principal John Zerbe extends his congratulations to the Interact Club and liaison Kathy Jeffries for doing this, as well as the Rotary Club for its work in the community. “We are excited for the future and what is yet to come,” said Zerbe.
