Mary Beth Lawson, 77, of St. Marys, died Monday, May 9, 2022 at her residence.

She was born Aug. 13, 1944 in Celina, to Ronald and Gertrude (Ritchie) Hughes.

Survivors include: daughter Renee Crosley of Charlottes­ville, Virginia; son Ronald Crosley of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter Rachelle Crosley of Wapakoneta; son Christophe­r Pickens of Van Wert; six grandchild­ren; two greatgrand­children; sister Ruth August of Zephyrhill­s, Florida; nieces and nephews and close friend of the family Nikki Kellermeye­r of St. Marys.

Preceded in death by: parents Ronald and Gertrude Hughes; husband Allen Lawson; infant granddaugh­ter Vanessa Crosley and grandson Adam Thompson.

She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1964).

She worked as Huffy Bicycle Corp. in Celina and retired from McDonald’s restaurant in St. Marys.

She was a member of Eagles Lodge Aerie #767 and VFW Post #9289 auxiliarie­s, and attended the Wayne Street United Methodist Church.

Her favorite pastimes included playing handheld video games and eating lunch with her high school classmates.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 13, at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St. in St. Marys.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
