1 injured in Sidney crash
SIDNEY — At around 9:06 p.m. on Tuesday, there was a report of a crash with injuries involving an automobile and a motorized bicycle (moped) at 768 Spruce Avenue in Sidney, according to a release from the from the Sidney Police Department.
It was learned that a juvenile operating a motorized bicycle (moped) was traveling on Spruce and was struck by an automobile. The operator of the motorized bicycle was injured and when Officer Meggan O’Brien arrived on the scene, she used a tourniquet on the victim’s leg due to the victim’s injuries.
Sidney Fire Department Medics transported the victim to the Wilson Health emergency room and the victim’s mother reported that the victim was then taken by CareFlight.
