St. Marys Police Department
The St. Marys Police Department issued 15 citations and responded to the following incidents from April 13 to April 19. April 19
• At 3:08 p.m., the police were called to Pantry Pride on Celina Road after they received reports of someone depositing fraudulent checks from it’s banking account.
• At 5:37 p.m., Derrick Faley was arrested by St. Marys Police on Vine Street on an outstanding warrant from the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office. Faley reportedly had suspected methamphetamine while he was being arrested.
• At 6:53 p.m., the police were called to the 100 block of Watercrest Avenue in relation to a theft complaint.
April 20
• At 11:05 a.m., the SMPD investigated reports of a menacing complaint reported at St. Marys Middle School.
• At 11:29 a.m., officers were called to the 700 block of East South Street in order to deal with a telecommunications harassment complaint.
• At 5:48 p.m., officers arrested Taylor Fortener on the 100 block of North Spruce Street in relation to an APA warrant from Columbus, Ohio.
April 21
• At 12:54 p.m., the police responded to a telephone harassment complaint at the 2200 block of North State Route 66.
• At 12:55 p.m., the police responded to a private property vehicle accident at the 600 block of South Ash Street.
• At 1:51 p.m., the police responded to a theft complaint at the Kroger on the 400 block of Fortman Drive.
• At 5:33 p.m., an accident was reported on Royal Oak Drive after a vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle.
• At 11:17 p.m., the SMPD investigated reports of a missing juvenile at the 800 block of Dorothy Lane.
