Memorial High School graduate puts business on the Inc. 5000 list
COLUMBUS — Bill Balderaz, a graduate of Memorial High School’s Class of 1993, has led his Columbusbased consulting powerhouse, Futurety, to secure a coveted spot on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list.
The Inc. 5000 award, renowned for recognizing the most rapid-growing companies across the United States, has previously honored industry giants such as Microsoft, Under Armour, and Facebook.

Futurety specializes in serving clients within the healthcare, technology, and retail sectors, extending its impact from coast to coast and across the globe. Balderaz added, “We are privileged to be associated with exceptional clients who believe in our vision and continue to evolve alongside us.”
According to Inc. Magazine’s stringent criteria, companies eligible for the Inc. 5000 award must have been established and generating revenue by March 31, 2019. They must also be privately held, U.S.-based, forprofit entities, standing independently without affiliation to other corporations or divisions, as of December 31, 2022. The qualifying revenue threshold for 2019 stands at $100,000, while the minimum revenue for 2022 is set at $2 million.
In addition to its acclaimed consulting arm, Futurety also operates a commercial real estate business, a software company, and an investment fund.
