The story of the Ambassador Hotel Wichita, Autograph Collection begins as far back at 1926. The building which now houses the boutique hotel was once home to the popular Union National Bank and Dockum Drug Store, the nation's very first lunch counter sit-in.

Nearly eight decades later, the hotel opened its doors and set new, higher standards with an engaging sta trained to anticipate the guests’ every need.
