PLANTED RESTAURANT

Owned by Elizabeth Green, sister of the controversial British billionnaire Sir Philip Green, Planted is a sophisticated and inviting vegan restaurant in the heart of New York City.

The food has been created by consulting Chef Sital Patel. Her food is perfectly executed, flavorful and obviously made with passion for ultra fresh ingredients.

f ers modern plant-forward food with all fresh ingredients, no artificial cheese or meats except for the impossible meat in the hand pies and meatballs as a way gateway to help convert those who are on the fence about how delicious plant-based dining can be.

The owner and the Chef didn't want to do "make believe" food, such as fake plant-based chicken. There's no plant-based yogurt or cheese. Just clean, natural, not processed dishes. There is asian influence on the menu because asian sauces have a certain amount of "umami" (6th sense taste), which is that feeling when you eat mushrooms and soy sauce (comfortness). Asian flavors in sauces are a good way to introduce vegetables to someone who may not like vegetables before.

The Roasted Brussels is one of our favorites, made with crispy Brussels, miso glaze and crispy chili.

Close-up on the Impossibly delicious meatballs, served with Thai green curry sauce, herbed quinoa and roasted veggies.

We love the flower on the delicious coconut creme brulee.

Perfect texture for the coconut-mango Panna Cotta.

Thank you to Chef Sital Patel For her outstanding food.
