MAKE YOUR OWN POCKET HOLE PLUGS
Instead of buying pocket hole plugs, use this jig to make as many as you need. Drill a pocket hole into a 2x4. Then insert a 3/8-in. dowel and slice it off flush with the face of the 2x4. After making the angled cut, push the dowel through, cut the end at 90 degrees and repeat.
