The Big Bounce America is coming to Fort Liberty

A bounce house, billed as the world's largest by Guinness World Records, will be at Fort Liberty this weekend for The Big Bounce America event, according to the post's Public Affairs Office.

The event is Friday through Sunday at Pike Field.

Each day there are several 45-minute sessions. The first session of the day is for children ages 7 and younger only. The subsequent sessions are open to everyone. The last two sessions of each day are called glow sessions, which allow attendees to experience glow-inthe-dark bounce houses.

The cost is $18 for regular sessions and $22 for glow sessions. Payment is by credit card only, cash is not accepted, the release said. Sessions start at the top of each hour and last 45 minutes with 15-minute intervals between each. During the 45 minutes, ticket holders have access to four bounce houses. Preregistr­ation is encouraged. Registrati­on on the day of the event is on a spaceavail­able basis. Children and their parents or guardians must purchase a ticket.

Dates and times:

Friday, 3 p.m.-11 p.m. To reserve a space, register by 4 p.m. Thursday.

Saturday, noon-10 p.m. To reserve a space, register by 4 p.m. Friday.

According to the release, the worldrecor­d bounce house is 32 feet at its highest point and spans more than 16,000 square feet. Inside are climbing towers, ball pits and basketball hoops. A DJ at the center of the bounce house will host games and play music.

Other bounce houses have themes such as American Ninja Warrior, modeled after the popular TV competitio­n series and an intergalac­tic bounce house that includes a 25-foot inflatable alien.

Prior to each session, registered participan­ts are required to check in at the check-in tent and sign a liability waiver.

Children 7 and under must be accompanie­d by a parent or guardian for regular bounce sessions. Children 16 and under must be accompanie­d by a parent or guardian for glow-bounce sessions.

Participan­ts must wear socks when entering any of the inflatable attraction­s, the release said.

The event is open to the public, but access to Fort Liberty is required. To get a one-day pass, individual­s must go to the All American Gate, be U.S. citizens with identifica­tion and provide their address, telephone number and reason for the visit.
