After four weeks, Florida State is still undefeated. The Seminoles join Texas A&M as the nation’s last two undefeated teams.

Week 4 began ACC play for many teams with the must-see matchup being Duke vs. Wake Forest. The Blue Devils won the series 2-1, which has shifted this week’s power rankings.

Here’s where every ACC team ranks four weeks into the season.

Rankings are based on games as of March 12.

1. Duke

Last week: 3

What to know: The No. 6ranked Blue Devils’ bullpen shined throughout the Wake Forest series, holding the Demon Deacons to six runs in 16 1⁄3 innings. Duke also hit four home runs, increasing its ACC lead to 42.

2. Clemson

Last week: 2

What to know: The No. 10 Tigers have won 10 straight games, including five in the past week vs. Kansas State (8-3 on March 6), sweeping UNC Greensboro over the weekend and Manhattan (13-1 Tuesday).

3. Wake Forest

Last week: 1

What to know: The No. 7ranked Demon Deacons dropped their first ACC series since May 2022 and lost 17-9 to Coastal Carolina on Tuesday. Chase Burns helped Wake rebound Saturday, fanning 14 batters.

4. North Carolina

Last week: 4

What to know: The No. 15 Tar Heels are on a 10-game win streak after sweeping Pittsburgh over the weekend and defeating Rutgers 13-7 on Tuesday. Despite their bullpen struggling vs. the Panthers, their starters shined, allowing two earned runs or fewer.

5. Florida State

Last week: 7

What to know: After beating FGCU 19-3 on March 6 and sweeping New Orleans over the weekend, the Seminoles passed their first major test Tuesday by beating No. 8 Florida 12-8 on the road. It was FSU’s first win in Gainesvill­e since 2020.

6. NC State

Last week: 6

What to know: The No. 13 Wolfpack swept Boston College over the weekend. They won 5-4 in extra innings Friday and scored a season-high 18 runs Sunday. NC State fell back to earth Tuesday, losing 18-3 to UNC Greensboro.

7. Virginia

Last week: 5

What to know: The No. 17 Cavaliers’ 2-1 series loss to Miami revealed problems with their bullpen. After leading 4-0 Friday, Virginia’s relievers gave up three runs in the sixth and seventh innings. On Saturday, with an 11-3 lead, the Cavaliers’ bullpen surrendere­d 13 runs across two innings.

8. Virginia Tech

Last week: 9

What to know: The Hokies swept Notre Dame to start ACC play and scored a season-high 20 runs against Marist. Virginia Tech leads the conference in slugging (.683), is second in homers (41) and has the fourth-best ERA (3.72).

9. Georgia Tech

Last week: 11

What to know: After getting shut out 7-0 by Northeaste­rn on March 6, the Yellow Jackets rebounded with a three-game sweep of Youngstown State and a 9-5 win vs. Mercer. Georgia Tech scored at least 16 runs in each game of the series and will try to carry those hot bats into ACC play.

10. Notre Dame

Last week: 8

What to know: The Fighting Irish were swept in their first ACC series against Virginia Tech. The Irish’s starting pitchers allowed at least four earned runs in each game, and their offense scored only two total runs in the first three innings of each outing.

11. Miami

Last week: 12

What to know: The Hurricanes won their series 2-1 against Virginia They had two comeback wins vs. the Cavaliers, including their 16-12 effort Saturday. It was its largest comeback win since 1992.

12. Pittsburgh

Last week: 10

What to know: The Panthers were swept by North Carolina over the weekend. They were in every game, losing by one run twice. Pitt punished the Tar Heels’ relievers, but North Carolina hitters made timely hits.

13. Louisville

Last week: 13

What to know: The Cardinals continued their strong play this past week, getting wins against Morehead State, Northweste­rn and Lipscomb. In each of their victories, they scored double-digit runs.

14. Boston College

Last week: 14

What to know: The Eagles were swept in their weekend series against NC State but rebounded to defeat Merrimack 17-7 Tuesday. Boston College’s pitching continues to be worrisome outside of A.J. Colarusso.
