A dozen monster trucks, each weighing in at 12,000 pounds and powered by a 1,500-horsepower methanol-fueled engine, will create quite a roar Saturday night in Jacksonvil­le when Monster Jam returns to EverBank Stadium.

That could be tricky because of all the other things going on in downtown Jacksonvil­le at the same time (Cirque du Soleil at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, Zach Williams at the Florida Theatre, the Jacksonvil­le Symphony at Jacoby Symphony Hall and Mom Jeans at Underbelly). The stadium lots will be open but will fill quickly. Parking passes are sold through the stadium's website.

Will there be a pre-race Pit Party at Monster Jam in Jacksonvil­le?

The Monster Jam Pit Party is a separately ticketed event that starts at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the stadium. Participan­ts will be able to get up close to the trucks, meet the drivers, take photos and get autographs. Admission to the pit party is $20, but you must also have a ticket to the main event.

Can I meet the drivers at Monster Jam in Jacksonvil­le?

You'll have two opportunit­ies to meet the Monster Jam drivers. First is the pre-race Pit Party, which starts at 2:30 p.m. Pit Party passes are $20. There is also a post-race meet-and-greet event.
