Nancy Doty, 85, of Fort Morgan, peacefully entered life eternally on March 1, 2021 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. Nancy was born in Fort

Morgan to John & Dorothy Luhrs on November 20, 1935. Nancy attended area schools and graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1953. She married Donald Doty on January 26, 1958 in Fort Morgan.

She is survived by her three sons and their spouses, Layne Doty, Stan & Susie Doty of Fort Morgan, Glenn & Ronnette Doty of Greeley; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Luhrs and his wife, Caroline and their families of New Braunfels, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Dorothy Luhrs and her husband, Donald Doty.

Nancy found joy in raising her family. She was very dedicated to her church where she played the organ and piano for several weddings and funerals over the years. She also gave piano lessons for several years and she worked at FMS Bank. Nancy loved playing cards and celebrating her birthday with friends. She always had a smile and found good in everyone. Nancy was also very active in the community and the Trinity Lutheran

Church in Fort Morgan.

Visitation will be held at Heer Mortuary in

Fort Morgan on Friday, March 5th from 4-6 PM.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 6th at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Sherman Street in Fort Morgan. Burial at Memory Gardens will follow the service. Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in care of Heer Mortuary, 225 East Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701.
