The Fort Morgan wrestling team saw fair amount of action lately, with a home dual Feb. 18 against Mountain View and a home quadrangular Feb. 20 that included duals with Greeley Central, Mead and Canyon City, according to results reported on trackwrestling.com.
First up, the Mustangs got a team win, 54-22, Thursday, Feb. 18, in the dual against Mountain
View at home.
Scoring for Fort Morgan were: Miguel Lopez (113 – 6 points, forfeit), Justin Wagner (120 – 6 points, forfeit), Rhonnel Akele (126 – 6 points, forfeit), Zach Hor ton (132 – 6 points, forfeit), Ethan Schingle (145 – 6 points, 2:34 fall), Emmanuel Garcia (152 – 6 points, 4:57 fall), Cael Langford (160 – 6 points, for feit), Santos Salmeron (170 – 6 points, forfeit), Timmy Paxton (220 – 0:33 fall).
On Saturday, Feb. 20, the Mustangs hosted a quadrangular, with Canon City, Greeley Central and Mead coming to Fort Morgan for duals.
In the dual with Canon City, Fort Morgan took a team loss, 44-30.

Next up for the Mustangs would be a dual on the road at Berthoud on Thursday, Feb. 25.
That would be followed by a quadrangular Saturday, Feb. 27, at Roosevelt, with duals with Roosevelt, Severance and Centaurus to end the regular boys wrestling season.
The regional wrestling tournament will be held March 5 and 6, and state is set for the weekend after that.
