At the East Morgan County Library District, the next two weeks will be filled with programming for adults, teens, and children.

Storytime is Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and Fridays at 10:15 a.m. for kids 0-5, along with their caregivers.

Following Storytime on Friday, March 8 at 11:30 a.m. will be a hands-on food program for caregivers and children. Come make different kinds of snacks and maybe learn a little something new about food, or come play and enjoy the company of other adults caring for children as they interact with other children in our community.

For Funtastic Friday, at 1 p.m. March 8, kids in grades Kindergarten through 6 are welcome to come do a mystery craft with their caregivers. The following week for Funtastic Friday, March 15 at 1 p.m., come join us for paper quilling.

Teen Advisory Group (TAG) will be meeting Monday, March 11 at 6:15 p.m. to play Minute to Win It games. This is open for teens in grades 6 through 12.

Upcoming adult events are: Lotería, Gentle Yoga, and Writer’s Workshop. Lotería will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m. Come prepared to have fun, eat great snacks, and possibly win a prize.

Gentle Yoga, a chairsupported yoga, is held every Tuesday at 10 a.m. and Thursday at 3 p.m.

On March 14 at 6 p.m. we will be hosting Writer’s Workshop, a quiet time where you can begin to work or continue working on a story you would like to write.

Do you enjoy reading the same book as others and then taking the time to discuss what you thought of the book? If so, join our Shelf Indulgence group that meets the last Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. For the month of March we are reading “The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” by Alexander McCall Smith. We have copies available at the library for check-out, as well as online options through our databases, Libby and Hoopla.

There is no cost to attend any of these programs.
