Louisiana shooter leaves 5 dead; suspect at large
Authorities in Louisiana said related shootings Saturday in two parishes left five people dead, and they were searching for an “armed and dangerous” suspect.
Ascension Parish Sheriff Bobby Webre said Dakota Theriot, 21, is the “prime suspect” in the deaths of Keith and Elizabeth Theriot, his parents. They were shot in their trailer Saturday morning in Gonzales, La. Deputies were able to interview one of the victims before both died.
Three other deaths were in Livingston Parish.
Dakota Theriot was believed to be driving a stolen gray-and-silver 2004 Dodge Ram pickup.
