Busch grabs win No. 201 with another Truck win

Kyle Busch re­mained un­de­feated in the Truck Se­ries this sea­son with yet another vic­tory Saturday at Martinsvil­le Speed­way in Martinsvil­le, Va.

Busch has won all three Truck Se­ries races he’s en­tered this year, and his lat­est vic­tory is the 201st na­tional se­ries win of his ca­reer. He’s off to an un­be­liev­able start to the sea­son with seven wins – in­clud­ing back-to-back vic­to­ries in the Cup Se­ries – and his low­est fin­ish in any race is sixth. usch has 54 ca­reer vic­to­ries in the Truck Se­ries.

Busch led 174 of 250 laps but a cau­tion with eight laps re­main­ing set up one last restart. Busch took off with three laps to go and cruised to the win, un­der cau­tion, be­cause of a wreck on the fi­nal lap.

Ben Rhodes fin­ished sec­ond.


IndyCar: Will Power topped qual­i­fy­ing at the in­au­gu­ral IndyCar Clas­sic, edg­ing Alexan­der Rossi at the Cir­cuit of the Amer­i­cas in Austin, Texas. The Team Penske driver earned his sec­ond pole po­si­tion in two races this sea­son and 56th of his ca­reer with a lap of 1 minute, 46.0177 sec­onds. Power started first at St. Peters­burg, Florida, and fin­ished third to team­mate Josef New­gar­den. Power can earn a $100,000 bonus if he can back it up with a race vic­tory on Sun­day.
