Busch wins Xfin­ity for chance at Texas sweep

Kyle Busch rock­eted in front on the fi­nal restart with six laps re­main­ing and went on to win the NASCAR Xfin­ity race Satur­day, set­ting up the pos­si­bil­ity of a triple­header week­end sweep at Texas Mo­tor Speed­way in Fort Worth.

Busch won for the third time in four Xfin­ity starts this sea­son and got his 95th ca­reer vic­tory in the se­ries. He ex­tended his NASCAR record to 203 wins over­all, in­clud­ing his 55th ca­reer Trucks Se­ries win Fri­day night.

He will start 16th for Sun­day’s Cup race at the 1

1⁄2 -mile track, where he won last spring. His 53 ca­reer Cup wins in­clude three in Texas.

Busch fin­ished ahead of Tyler Red­dick in the Xfin­ity race af­ter both took fuel only on the fi­nal stop af­ter the ninth and fi­nal cau­tion.

This is the se­cond time this year Busch will go into the Cup race af­ter win­ning Trucks and Xfin­ity races in the same week­end.
