GOP and its upside-down thinking

The Fresno Bee (Sunday) - - Opinion -

Looks like Republicans are gearing up to rig the 2020 election like they’ve been doing since the Supreme Court installed George W. Bush as president in 2000. Along with gerrymandering and voter suppression of Democrats like voter IDs, they pounced on the 2020 census as a way to limit Democrat political influence by reducing the number of citizens used to allocate money and political representation in blue states.

Even more outside of normal in Republican upside-down thinking, they say its meant to bolster the Voting Rights Act. Yet the citizenship question is a ploy to prevent votes from Democrats.

Republicans are trying to hold on to the old order. They don’t even try to understand where today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders will carry us in their desperate attempt at socio-political tampering. They are afraid of losing their power. Worse, they are losing it to (OMG), brown-skinned women. Your time in power is over, white man.
