DONATION WILL HELP OPEN RESCUE CENTER
Breaking the Chains received a check for $150,000 from Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community, or PINC.
The record-setting donation from PINC will help the nonprofit open Fresno County’s first 24-hour rescue center for human trafficking victims, according to a news release from PINC.
The funds were raised during the PINC Royale event on June 22, and was the largest donation in the organization’s 11-year history. Breaking the Chains will also use the donation to continue helping human trafficking victims with food, emergency shelter, job placement therapy, legal and other services.
