Ham­mer calls out Marvel chief for back­ing Trump

Ar­mie Ham­mer is hint­ing at a Thanos-sized up­ris­ing.

Pig­gy­back­ing on the re­cent back­lash against Equinox and Soul­Cy­cle, the “Ho­tel Mumbai” ac­tor on Fri­day some­what sug­gested a sim­i­lar ban against Marvel En­ter­tain­ment be­cause of its chair­man’s fi­nan­cial sup­port of Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump.

“Hey, while every­one seems to be on this Equinox thing, it might be a good time to men­tion that one of Trump’s largest fi­nan­cial con­trib­u­tors is the chair­man of Marvel En­ter­tain­ment (Isaac Perl­mut­ter)….. jus­sayin,” Ham­mer tweeted.

Perl­mut­ter and his wife, Laura, are long­time sup­port­ers of Trump, ac­cord­ing to Indiewire.com.

Isaac Perl­mut­ter do­nated $1 mil­lion to Trump’s wounded vet­er­ans ini­tia­tive dur­ing Trump’s pres­i­den­tial run in 2016, ac­cord­ing to the out­let. He has been de­scribed as the pres­i­dent’s “Mar-a-Lago pal and De­part­ment of Vet­er­ans Af­fairs ad­viser.” Laura Perl­mut­ter served on Trump’s In­au­gu­ra­tion com­mit­tee.
