Eagles: Backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld was back at practice Saturday wearing an arm sling, one day after surgery to repair a broken left wrist. Cardinals: Arizona released defensive end Darius Philon, a day after Maricopa County jail records indicate he was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly instrument. A Phoenix police spokeswoman, Sgt. Maggie Cox, confirmed Philon had been arrested, but declined to provide further information, referring a reporter to court documents that were not immediately available. Packers: Second-year linebacker Oren Burks is believed to have a torn pectoral muscle, a source told ESPN. More tests are scheduled to determine the course of action, another source told the network, but the Packers' defense has lost the starter at least temporarily. Bills: Buffalo shuffled cornerbacks by signing veteran Captain Munnerlyn and placing E.J. Gaines on injured reserve. The Bills also signed defensive tackle Roderick Young and offensive lineman Demetrius Rhaney. They freed up roster spots by releasing offensive lineman Nico Siragusa and placing defensive tackle Robert Thomas on injured reserve due to a knee injury.
Jaguars: Jacksonville doesn't expect left tackle Cam Robinson and receiver Marqise Lee to be ready for the season opener. Robinson, a second-round draft pick in 2017, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee last September. Lee, who led the team in receptions in 2017, tore several ligaments in his left knee last August.
