Gay Street Gallery

Landscape painter Kevin H. Adams’ studio is adjacent to his and partner Jay Brown’s Gay Street Gallery (337 Gay St., Washington) in what had been a historic mercantile and later school bus garage. Both the studio and fine-art gallery, which hosts exhibits of works by select, award-winning artists from Virginia and around the country, are open 10 to 5 Wednesday-Monday. Hazel River Arts & Antiques

The largest group of artists under one roof in Rappahannock County are here, including glassworks, pottery, finely crafted furniture, basketry, painters of all kinds, weaving and rug hooking. Martin Woodard Studio & Gallery
