Firefighters dispatched at 4: 13 a. m. Jan. 13
Fire crews battled an early morning fire at a Hamburg church on North 4th Street and Franklin Street in Hamburg on Jan. 13.
At about 4: 13 a. m., firefighters were dispatched to a fire at Victory Chapel Ministries, 213 North 4th Street, Hamburg.
Responding to the fire were Hamburg Fire Company, Shoemakersville Fire Company, Shartlesville Community Fire Co. # 1 Station 41, Strausstown Volunteer Fire Co., Community Fire Company of Virginville, Kutztown Fire Company Truck Crew, Temple Fire Company, Union Fire Company # 1 of
Leesport, Central Berks Fire Company, Bernville Community Fire Company, West Reading Fire Department, Orwigsburg Fire Department, Deer Lake & West Brunswick Fire Co. # 1, Schuylkill Haven Fire Department - Fire District 63, Hamburg Ambulance, and North Penn Goodwill Service.
“Thank you to every First Responder who helped at this fire,” said Linda Billman Rowlands in a post on the Northeast Berks News Facebook page. “It was very cold and windy out there this morning.”
