Heights-Terrace students at band event
On Nov. 30, five middle school students from Heights-Terrace Elementary/Middle School represented the school at the Marywood Junior Wind Band Celebration at Marywood University, Scranton. These students, along with 320 seventh- through ninth-grade students from 54 middle and high schools, participated in the two-day festival. After completing a successful audition, the students were placed into one of the three festival bands. Students had the chance to work with respected music educators and clinicians for two days before performing a concert Dec. 1 at the Sette LaVerghetta Center at Marywood.
