Drug charges for Freeland man
A Freeland man was found with drugs when borough police took him into custody on a warrant Jan. 1.
Carl N. Busch, 32, was charged with misdemeanors for possession of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia by Weatherly police. He was taken to jail after failing to post $5,000 bail set by Magisterial District Judge Joseph Homanko, Weatherly, on Jan. 3.
Police said he had various items in his possession to include over 13 glassine bags with residue, two needles, two glass smoking pipes with residue that tested positive for marijuana, a spoon and 0.2 grams of marijuana.
Busch was in custody at the Freeland station in relation to charges from a Dec. 19 vehicle stop he fled in Weatherly, court papers state.
