Marilyn Bergman,
who teamed with her husband and fellow lyricist, Alan Bergman, to win three Oscars as one of the most revered writing tandems in movie music history, died Jan. 8 in Los Angeles. She was 93.
Dwayne Hickman,
star of the CBS comedy The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, died Jan. 9 in L.A. of complications from Parkinson’s disease. He was 87.
