Cam Red­dish hit a 3-pointer with 0.8 sec­onds left, and No. 1 Duke over­came the loss of Zion Wil­liamson to beat No. 13 Florida State 80-78 on Satur­day in Tal­la­has­see, Fla.

Duke (14-1, 3-0 ACC) played the sec­ond half with­out Wil­liamson, who left the game af­ter get­ting poked in the eye late in the first half. He didn’t re­turn and had 11 points and eight re­bounds in 17 min­utes. RJ Bar­rett scored 32 points for the Blue Devils on 10-of-19 shoot­ing, and Red­dish had 23.

Mfiondu Kaben­gele came off the bench to record his third ca­reer dou­ble-dou­ble, record­ing ty­ing a ca­reer-high with 24 points and 10 re­bounds for Florida State (13-3, 1-2). The Semi­noles hosted a No. 1 team for the first time in ex­actly eight years, when they beat Duke 66-61 on Jan. 12, 2011. 43: Kyle Guy had 13 points, De’an­dre Hunter scored 12 and the Cava­liers (3-0 ACC) im­proved to 15-0 over­all by cruis­ing past the Tigers (10-6, 0-3) in Clem­son, S.C.
