Weekend Forecast: Evening thunderstorms through Sunday
High pressure along the Missouri-kansas border will draw moisture northward into the East Mountains. This will lead to afternoon and evening thunderstorms through the weekend along with warm temperatures. Locally heavy rain is possible in thunderstorms.
For Edgewood, Moriarty and the Estancia Valley, expect afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms right through the weekend along with warm temperatures. Locally heavy rain is possible in thunderstorms. High temperatures through the weekend will be in the middle to upper 80s. Overnight low temperatures will be in the lower to middle 50s.
For Cedar Crest, Tijeras and Sedillo areas expect afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms right through the weekend along with warm temperatures. Locally heavy rain is possible in thunderstorms. High temperatures Friday will be in the middle 80s with overnight low temperatures Friday night around 60 degrees. High temperatures Saturday and Sunday will be in the middle to upper 80s. Overnight low temperatures Saturday night will be in the middle to upper 50s.
