Weekend Forecast: Warm temperatures continue
Low pressure over Arizona will move east into New Mexico on Friday as a backdoor cold front continues to move through eastern New Mexico. This combination will bring showers and thunderstorms along with cool temperatures to the East Mountains. High pressure will build into New Mexico over the weekend bringing dry and mild Fall weather.
For Edgewood, Moriarty and the Estancia Valley, expect showers and thunderstorms on Friday. High temperatures will be around 60 degrees. There will be a slight chance of evening showers and thunderstorms Friday evening. It will be chilly with low temperatures Friday night in the middle to upper 30s.
Saturday and Sunday will be dry with high temperatures in the middle to upper 60s. Overnight low temperatures Saturday night will be in the upper 30s.
For Cedar Crest, Tijeras and Sedillo areas, expect showers and thunderstorms on Friday. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 50s. There will be a slight chance of evening showers and thunderstorms Friday evening. Low temperatures Friday night will be in the lower 40s. Saturday and Sunday will be dry with high temperatures in the lower to middle 60s. Overnight low temperatures Saturday night will be in the middle 40s.
