Jeremiah Carpio 1982 – 2021

Jeremiah Carpio, 39, a resident of Willard, passed away Nov. 24 in Albuquerqu­e. Jeremiah was born Feb. 9, 1982 in Albuquerqu­e, to Jesus U. and Dixie L. (Delgado) Carpio. Jeremiah is survived by his parents, Jesus U. and Dixie L. Carpio of Estancia; sons, Jeremiah Carpio Jr. of Estancia, Joseph Carpio of Estancia, and Jacob Carpio of Moriarty; daughters, Marie Carpio of Estancia, Esperanza Aragon of Albuquerqu­e, and Mariana Sanchez of Estancia; brother, Jesse Carpio of Estancia; sister, Leticia Carpio-alderete and husband Andrew of Willard; and grandmothe­r, Bertha Avita. Funeral services are as follows: Graveside services were held Dec. 2 at the El Rosario Cemetery in Willard, with pastor William Torrez officiatin­g. A reception followed at the Willard Community Center. Pallbearer­s were Lucian Alderete, Jerry Mendez, Jody Delgado, Nathaniel Torrez, Andrew Alderete, Jesse Carpio and Michael Mendez. Honorary pallbearer­s were Jeremiah Carpio Jr., Joseph Carpio, and Jacob Carpio. Funeral arrangemen­ts were entrusted to Harris-hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty.

Elodio Erminio Sandoval 1977 – 2021

Elodio Erminio Sandoval, 44, passed away Nov. 13 at home in Moriarty. He was born Aug. 1, 1977 to his parents, Roberto Felipe Sandoval and Rosana Sandoval. Elodio will forever be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by the love of his life, Debra Martinez; sons, Angel Sandoval, Santiago Montoya, Valentino Sandoval, Joshua Montoya, and Elodio Jr.; daughter, Aleece Sandoval; sister, Veronica Sandoval as well as his niece; and grandchild­ren. A private family service took place Nov. 23.
