Tanya Ann Ray, 82, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on January 11th, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Mary Dare and daughter Rhonda Ferrell.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Ronald Lee Ray and their daughters: Tammy (Hossam) Senousy of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, Raeann Ray of Carmel, Indiana, and Tawnn (Tim) Hoover of Granger, Indiana; son-in-law (Rhonda’s husband), Mark Ferrell; grandchild­ren: Matt Ferrell, Dani Jones, Miriam Senousy and Jinan Senousy, Gabrielle Hoover, and Tyler Hoover; and great grandchild­ren: Addison Ferrell, Gavin Ferrell, and Kinlee Jones.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, from 12 noon to 2 pm, with a Funeral Service at 2 pm, and Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park, Prairie Waters building, 4180 Westfield Road. Tanya’s final resting place will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Emily Sue Armstrong, 48, of Mooresvill­e, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at St. Vincent Heart Center. She was born in Beech Grove on March 18, 1975, to Arlen and Judith (Davee) Armstrong. Emily graduated from Mooresvill­e High School in the class of 1993 and enlisted in the United States Navy shortly after. She served in the Navy for 3 years, studying Hebrew at the Defense Language Institute until 1996, before enlisting in the United States Army in 2000. While in the Army, Emily studied pre-engineerin­g at Pensacola Junior College. She was deployed to Iraq in 2006 where her duties were commander of a logistics and supply convoy. Emily’s bravery and tenacity earned her the Bronze Star while deployed. After deployment, Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from IUPUI in 2011. She then became the logistics manager at Camp Atterbury from 2012-2013. As a master sergeant, Emily dedicated 23 years to the United States Military before retiring in 2020. She was a member of the VFW and the first female commander of the American Legion Post 103.

In her younger years, Emily played recreation­al softball, basketball, and soccer. She was part of the Mooresvill­e Color Guard and enjoyed playing rugby. In her free time, Emily thoroughly enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle­s. One of her rescue dogs, Raucous, would even ride alongside her in the sidecar of her Harley. Emily especially loved fishing trips with Dad. Together, they took part in Henderson Mission trips to Frakes, Kentucky to help repair houses. Emily had a heart for helping others, whether people or animals. She continued serving others through the gift of organ donation. Her generosity and compassion will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Emily is preceded in death by her mother, Judith Armstrong. Survivors include her father, Arlen Armstrong; brother, Eric (Hannah) Armstrong; sister, Kelly (John) Connell; nephews, Sean and Jack; nieces, Cami and Emma; aunt, Margaret Davee; and a host of cousins.

Family and friends will gather to remember and honor Emily’s life on Thursday, January 18, 2024, 4 to 7 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral service will begin at 12 Noon, Friday, January 19, 2024, at the funeral home, with an hour of visitation prior. In honoring Emily’s wishes, she will be cremated. Timothy “Arch” Joseph Doyle, 62, of Zionsville, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was born July 6, 1961, in Indianapol­is, IN, to the late James B. “Jimmy” Doyle and Dolores “Muffy” Dezelan Doyle.

Tim attended St. Pius X and Chatard High School graduating in 1979. He then attended Indiana University where he graduated with a degree in Accounting and was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity. After college, he began his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen in Indianapol­is where for 20 years he worked in Audit, IT, and then Recruiting. He then moved on to Dauby, O’Connor, and Zaleski in Carmel, IN, where he worked in Audit and was the firm’s first Director of Recruiting. He was a Member (Partner) in the firm and retired in 2020.

Tim was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy on his 16th birthday, and he received his first wheelchair on his 30th birthday. It was on that 30th birthday that he gave his life to Jesus Christ, and he spent the remainder of his life dedicated to following Christ and serving others. Despite the immense hardships of his illness, Tim not only lived, he thrived, putting on full display the joy of Christ in the midst of suffering. He attended East 91st Street Christian Church where he was very involved in JRM and teaching Preschool Sunday School. For the last 20+ years, he attended College Park Church where he again taught preschool children and later served as an Elder.

For the last ten years, Tim served as Board President for the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation (MDFF) where he was able to inspire and manage initiative­s to serve families in Indiana impacted by Muscular Dystrophy.

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his sisters Debby Doyle McCalley, Jody Doyle Dolen, and Jenny Doyle Walker, and brother Mack Doyle. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca “Becky” (Senter) Doyle, brother Danny (Janet) Doyle, sister Jamie (Ahmed) Ismail, brotherin-law George Dolen, and nieces Erin McCalley Homan, Katie McCalley, Ellie Walker, and Hannah Ismail.

Funeral arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to Feeney Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM, Monday, January 22, 2024, at College Park Church, 2606 W 96th Street, Indianapol­is, IN 46268. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 11 AM, also at College Park Church. There will be a post-funeral meal celebratio­n for family and friends to attend – details to follow. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 20, 2024, 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church Greenfield with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial: Monday, January 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. EST. at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Montgomery, Indiana.
