BROWNSBURG - Jacquelyn Hyten McClung was born on August 6, 1934, and died February 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurel McClung; her parents, Henry and Julia Hyten; her brothers, O.G. Hyten, Tim (Dorothy) Hyten, and Dave (Penny) Hyten; and her sister, Eloise (Robert) Waggoner. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie McClung Sams; her son, Joseph (Michele) McClung; her grandchild­ren, Joseph Sams, Jeffrey Sams, and Ariana (Robert) McClung Geiger; her two great-grandsons, Cyrus Joseph Sams and Lincoln Joseph Geiger; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebratio­n of Life will be held in the summer of 2024.

FISHERS - James R. McConnell of Fishers, Indiana, age 96 passed away on February 25, 2024. Born in Gary, Indiana to Russell and Altha McConnell.. After High school, he served in the Navy, graduated from Butler with B.S. in General Business and worked for Anderson Box Co. and Inland Container Corp. Jim had four children Kathrin Fairneny (Steven), Ann Badders (Mark) Lisa Beth (Brad,MD) and the Rev. James McConnell, Jr

Jim married Patricia Derry-Brown and has two daughters, Deborah Twitty, son Alex, and daughter Kaitlyn. Elizabeth Milborn (Bob) and son Christian.

Funeral services: March 22. at 10 o’clock visitation 11:00 funeral service with burial following at the church. Jim requests donations be made to The Church of the Nativity Episcopal Church Building Fund or your favorite charity.
