FISHERS - Patricia Jean Stutz, 91, passed away peacefully March 25th, 2024. She was born July 26th, 1932, in Indianapol­is to parents H. Patrick and Blanche (Carmen) Warner. Pat grew up in Indianapol­is and in 1950, graduated from Howe high school, where she met some of her lifelong friends. She continued her education at DePauw University, joining her high school sweetheart, James “Jim” Stutz, and was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. On June 15th, 1952, Patricia married the love of her life, James M. “Jim” Stutz. They shared nearly 70 wonderful years together. James passed away April 9th, 2022. Patricia worked as a secretary for Lawrence Township schools, and later at the Disciples of Christ Church headquarte­rs, until retiring. Patricia was a gentle, loving woman. She had a lifelong passion for music. A talented pianist, she taught piano lessons for many years. She and her husband James loved to travel, taking trips with their friends. Patricia was an avid sports fan. She attended countless games throughout her life, supporting James while he coached many teams, and cheering for her sons and grandchild­ren at their games. She was devoted to her family, often showing her love through her delicious food, and adored spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Patricia is survived by her sons Jim Stutz, Jay (Laura) Stutz, and Jon (Theresa) Stutz; grandchild­ren Jaxon, Jason, Sophia, Heather, and Holly Stutz; sisters in law Judy L. Warner and Marjorie Carr; and several nieces, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; grandson Jeremy J.; brother Stewart L. Warner; and sister-in-law Patricia A. (Robert “Bob”) Goyer. Visitation will be Thursday, April 11th, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 11-1pm. Her funeral will begin at 1pm.
