-

At the Sanibel Inn, guests will find Dante’s Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner as well as cocktails and other beverages from its full bar. Dinner menu highlights include starters such as meatball sliders and fried calamari. Coal-fired wings and baby back ribs are popular choices, along with Italian selections from a chicken Parmesan sandwich and coal-fired calzone to pasta dishes and tiramisu for dessert.

Families that want to share pizza can create their own or order one of Dante’s Pizzas Di Casa. The delicious coal-fired pies—Margherita, Capricciosa, Quattro Formaggi and others— score big with diners.

The Sanibel Inn is also home to the Island Time Bar & Grill. This is the perfect poolside spot to sip a cocktail or eat lunch.

No matter which of the four Inns of Sanibel you choose to stay at, you will enjoy a social membership to the nearby Dunes Golf & Tennis Club. Guests are welcome at the Dunes Clubhouse for cocktails at the handsome wood bar and lunch in the dining room or on the patio. Views of the waterside 18th hole and Sanibel’s amazing island sunsets add to the experience. Sports fans can catch golf action and other sporting events on the clubhouse’s televisions. On Friday during season, the restaurant is open for dinner.

The highlights from the lunch menu include coconut shrimp, Oriental chicken salad, island fish tacos and the Dunes steak sandwich. Cocktails range from classic Bloody Marys and Moscow Mules to margaritas and dessert martinis. Draft and bottled beer and wine by the glass and bottle are offered. A daily happy hour is a good reason to stop in from 3-6 p.m.
