Andy Sam­berg (“Brook­lyn Nine-Nine”) and San­dra Oh (“Killing Eve”) are the co-hosts as stars from both film and tele­vi­sion gather at the Bev­erly Hil­ton in Bev­erly Hills, Calif., for this an­nual awards cer­e­mony by the Hol­ly­wood For­eign Press As­so­ci­a­tion. Beloved TV com­edy star Carol Bur­nett will re­ceive a new spe­cial achieve­ment award that will bear her name and sub­se­quently be pre­sented to hon­orees who have made out­stand­ing con­tri­bu­tions to tele­vi­sion ei­ther on- or off-screen. Jeff Bridges re­ceives the Ce­cil B. DeMille Award for his body of work.

8 p.m. on ANIM Crikey! It’s the Ir­wins

An ex­cited Robert trav­els to one of his coun­try’s most fa­mous nat­u­ral at­trac­tions, the Great Bar­rier Reef, to go “Swim­ming With Manta Rays” in the wa­ters around Lady El­liot Is­land in this new episode. He also brings his un­der­wa­ter pho­tog­ra­phy skills as a ci­ti­zen sci­en­tist in ser­vice to Project Manta, a re­search pro­gram that’s vi­tal to the con­ser­va­tion of this species. Back at Aus­tralia Zoo, a baby wal­laby is fight­ing for sur­vival af­ter the death of its mother, so the Res­cue Unit and Wildlife Hos­pi­tal team up to help.

8 p.m. on STARZ Outlander

When the se­crets that Jamie and Claire (Sam Heughan, Ca­tri­ona Balfe) have been keep­ing from each other fi­nally come out, the cou­ple re­al­ize their ac­tions have pro­duced dis­as­trous com­pli­ca­tions for Roger and Bri­anna (Richard Rankin, So­phie Skel­ton) in the new episode “The Deep Heart’s Core.” Af­ter Young Ian (John Bell) ruth­lessly trades Roger to a tribe of Na­tive Amer­i­cans, Jamie and Claire im­me­di­ately em­bark on an at­tempted res­cue mis­sion. Mean­while, Roger feels help­less against his cap­tors.

9 p.m. on WTOC-11 NCIS: Los An­ge­les

The chief of lo­gis­tics for a naval weapons sta­tion causes a scene by col­laps­ing abruptly on the job in the new episode “The Sound of Si­lence.” It falls to Callen (Chris O’Don­nell) and his team to re­solve the ur­gent ques­tion as to whether the in­ci­dent was “only” a stress-in­duced break­down or ev­i­dence of a le­git­i­mate ter­ror threat. Mean­while, Deaks and Kensi (Eric Chris­tian Olsen, Daniela Ruah) in­de­pen­dently re­search promis­ing hon­ey­moon des­ti­na­tions. Pamela Reed guest stars; LL Cool J and Bar­rett Foa also star.

9 p.m. on FOOD Worst Cooks in Amer­ica

Chefs Tyler Florence and Anne Bur­rell re­turn as team coaches of some of the most in­ept would-be cooks in the coun­try. These seem­ingly hapless rook­ies are put through a gru­el­ing culi­nary boot camp, with the least suc­cess­ful can­di­date go­ing home at the end of each episode. In the Sea­son 15 pre­miere, “The Per­fect Bird,” the coaches pick their teams af­ter sam­pling what the rook­ies con­sider their sig­na­ture dishes. Next, they must at­tempt an er­ror-free chicken dish.
