Concerned About the National Debt

The Jewish Voice - - EDITORIAL -

Dear Editor:

Debt clocks should be installed in City Hall, Metropolitan Transportation Authority Board Room, Albany and Washington. Every time any Legislative body raises debt and the Executive branch signs off, they should see what future generations will inherit. New York City, MTA, New York State and Washington each carry more long term debt than virtually any other city, transit authority, state or nation. This is nothing to be proud of.

Sincerely, Larry Penner Great Neck
