A reward for information in a Kansas City, Kan., murder has increased to $2,000, officials announced Tuesday.
The $1,000 increase comes in the case of LeDion D. Brown, who was killed Oct. 30, 2009.
He was found shot dead inside a car in the 1300 block of North Fourth Street.

Kansas district and appeals courts will be closed on four upcoming Fridays because of a budget shortfall, officials announced Tuesday.
Employees will be on involuntary unpaid leave April 9, 16, 23, and May 7, officials said.
During the closings, judges will deal only with critical functions such as finding probable cause for arrests.
