CENTREVILLE — The annual tricycle race at the Queen Anne’s County Fair Thursday, Aug. 9, did not disappoint with its usual hairpin turns and eventual spills.

This year’s competition included eight teams comprised of four members in a track in the main show ring for a relay race. Organizers also unveiled new tricycles as apt at the tell-tale drifting that makes the race entertaining.

Teams Included the “Official Chicks,” “FDIC,” Team Autism,” “Team Trike,” “Ingleside Hot Wheels,” “2020,” “Coastin’ Bike” and “Goat Getters.”

After a series of three heats with three teams each, it was “Ingleside Hot Wheels” crossing for the checkered flag and taking the overall title and grand prize of a gift certificate.
