NARFE to meet Nov. 14

EAS­TON — Na­tional Ac­tive and Re­tired Fed­eral Em­ploy­ees Tide­wa­ter Chap­ter (serv­ing Caro­line, Dorch­ester, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Kent Coun­ties) will meet Wed­nes­day, Nov. 14, at Two If by Sea on Til­gh­man Is­land. So­cial hour be­gins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served at noon.

The restau­rant pro­pri­etor, Henry Miller, will give a brief pre­sen­ta­tion about his restau­rant and Til­gh­man Is­land in gen­eral.

All ac­tive or re­tired Fed­eral em­ploy­ees (cur­rent, lapsed and prospec­tive mem­bers) and guests are wel­come to at­tend. NARFE is not a union, but it is the only mem­ber­ship or­ga­ni­za­tion solely ded­i­cated to pro­tect­ing and pre­serv­ing the ben­e­fits of all Fed­eral work­ers and re­tirees.
