Queen Anne woman charged with DUI
CHESTER — A Queen Anne woman faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after allegedly striking two parked cars about 5:21 p.m. Nov. 25.
Melissa Hastings, 27, was driving a white Hyundai passenger car on the 1000 block of Cox Neck Road when her car struck two parked vehicles, police said.
Deputy J. Bradley of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office respond to a call about the accident and reported smelling an odor of alcohol on Hastings’ breath, police said. Bradley conducted standard field sobriety tests, which Hastings failed. She was arrested and charged with DUI.
