Right proving to be hypocritical
Those on the right, led by the whiner-in-chief, Donald Trump, constantly bemoan the left’s supposed “cancel culture.” How hypocritical of them.
Apparently the whiners forget that in 2011 a Christian group in Florida led a boycott of Lowe’s because the company had the temerity to sponsor a show entitled “All American Muslim” a show that chronicled the lives of five Arab/Muslim families from Dearborn. Or in 2003 when CBS was forced to drop plans to run a made for TV movie, “The Reagans” due to conservative outrage over the portrayal of the late president. And, more recently, the GOP’s censuring of numerous Republican politicians for daring to vote their conscience in the second Trump impeachment and trial.
Even more recently, the right’s — again led by Trump — outcry, and calls to boycott baseball, over Major League Baseball’s decision to pull the All Star game out of Atlanta due to Georgia’s recently enacted voting law. There have also been calls to boycott many of America’s leading, Georgiabased comparations because of their statements of dissent related to the voting law.
“Cancel culture” as practiced by those on the right. Hypocrites indeed.
