Homeland Security says there is no danger to residents
Homeland Security confirmed it conducted a raid Wednesday morning at Quality Automotive Parts in Warren.
The aftermarket automotive retailer is located at 5523 Nine Mile Road between Mound and Ryan roads.
In a statement, Homeland Security said “there is no threat to the public and the matter remains an ongoing investigation.”
Authorities indicated that at least part of the “law enforcement operation” conducted at Quality Automotive Parts is related to counterfeit parts.
This is an ongoing investigation and Homeland Security is not releasing any other information at this time.
