Luxury townhouses proposed near Partridge Creek Mall
Development is latest phase to Montclair Community
An Oakland County developer will present a luxury townhouse proposal near Partridge Creek Mall to the Clinton Township Planning Commission on Thursday night.
Auburn Hills-based Partridge Creek Holdings, LLC is seeking approval for their latest residential phase to Montclair Community on the north side of Dove Street, east of Garfield Road, a short distance away from the outdoor shopping center.
“We titled the development Paloma, which is Italian for dove because it’s on Dove Street,” Dominic J. Moceri of Moceri Custom Homes said Wednesday.
Clinton Township Planning Director Bruce Thomson is recommending the commission approve the project.
The site is on 5.38 acres of land that is currently undeveloped and will retain a sizable chunk of passive recreational space with trees and foliage, Moceri added.
According to planning records, Moceri plans to construct 32, 3-bedroom apartment units in five buildings. Each building will be constructed with a combination masonry and siding exterior.
The buildings will have direct access from Dove Street and through the shopping center. A total of 80 parking spots are included on the site plan.
Landscaping is proposed along the street side of the project and throughout development in excess of minimum zoning requirements, records show.
Moceri declined to say how much he plans to invest in the site.
Previous apartment developments in the Montclair Community have monthly rents of $1,730$2,550, according to Montclair’s website.
The company has built more than 55,000 residences in an array of styles, including luxury homes, condominiums, apartments, manufactured homes and senior communities throughout southeast Michigan.
