OMLOR, JACKLYN

Jacklyn Lou Omlor, age 90, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on November 19, 2022. She was born on August 29, 1932, to the proud parents of George and Margaret Zeunen. Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Richard Omlor. Loving mother to Jan Conflitti Gail (Richard) LeClair, Richard Omlor, Robert Omlor and James (Kerina) Omlor. Cherished grandmother to Jenni, Robert, Danielle, Rachel, Sarah, Lauren and Shelley. Also 15 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many family and friends.

Jacklyn was a former Den Mother for 10 years to Cub Scout Pack 1462, a 38 year member of Louisa St. Clair Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution where she served as Chapter Regent and also served on the State Board. She was a long time member of the Historic Memorials Society of Detroit.

Jacklyn in her free time loved to explore her genealogy, sewing and crocheting. She has made hundreds of shawls which were donated to the VA Hospital and her church Lake Shore Presbyterian prayer shawl ministry.

Family will receive friends on Friday November 25, 2022, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022, beginning with a gathering at 8:30 am, until time of service at 9:00 am, at Lake Shore Presbyterian Church 27801 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

Memorials in memory of Jacklyn are suggested to the Seedlings Braille Books for Children P.O. Box 51924, Livonia, Michigan 48151-5924 and Lake Shore Presbyterian Church.

Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
