Winter Social brings holiday fun (and football) to Grosse Pointe

Grosse Pointe will be holiday central this weekend when the West Park Farmers Market hosts its Winter Social from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26.

The event will feature food trucks, craft beer and cocktails, a holiday market and live music from the Hummingbirds and the tribute bands The Insiders (Tom Petty) and Echoes of Pink Floyd. There will also be heated tents and fire pits, marshmallow roasting, crafts, games and other family activities.

And if the Michigan vs. The Team That Shall Not Be Named football game is on your agenda, it will be showing on a giant LED screen.
