Three women have been charged with operating a brothel at a Warren massage parlor on Nine Mile Road.

Greenday Massage is located east of Ryan Road and across Nine Mile Road from Fitzgerald High School.

According to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, Meiya Xu and Yingshu Zhu, both of Flushing, New York, and Hyeyen Bratek, of Roseville, were arraigned in 37th District Court Nov. 23 in front of Judge Suzanne Faunce and charged with maintaining a house with the purpose of prostitution, a five-year felony; and prostitution, a 90-day misdemeanor. Xu and Bratek were also charged with using a computer to commit a crime, a seven-year felony.

Judge Faunce set bond for Xu and Bratek at $10,000 cash/surety only, no 10%, and if they are released on bond, they must surrender their passports and wear a GPS tether. She set bond for Zhu at $5,000 cash/surety, no 10% and she must surrender her passport.

In November, the Warren Police Department received information that Greenday Massage in Warren was conducting sexual favors and acts of prostitution. On Nov. 22, two undercover Warren police officers made appointments at the massage parlor online. It is alleged both officers were offered sexual acts for money.

“Warren Police did a great job of investigating this tip in a swift manner,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido. “These types of places

do not belong in our community.” A probable cause hearing is set for Dec. 6 at 8:45am and a preliminary examination is scheduled on Dec. 13 at 8:45 a.m.
